It’s been nearly 5 years since Ayan Mukerji’s magnum opus Brahmastra was announced. The film is now nearing it’s much long awaited release. While fans wait patiently yet again for it to come out, a new still from the film featuring its lead pair Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt has surfaced. The two can be seen holding their gaze on each other across a metal gate. They look so much in love! 

Brahmastra will be heavy on VFX and thus got postponed. The pandemic added to the makers’ mayhem and delayed things further. But they are now determined to finally bring the film to the world. In an interview earlier Ranbir had said how his late father actor Rishi Kapoor was concerned about the film and had constant fights with Ayan. He stated, “I remember during the making of this film, he kept fighting with Ayan and me and kept questioning us, ‘What are you doing? Who takes so long to make a film? Who spends so much money?’ ‘Ranbir you’re not making one penny on this film. VFX film kaun dekhega India mai?”

Brahmastra also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy and Nagarjuna. It will hit the big screens on 9th September 2022 in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam.
