Fans of Rani Mukerji have truly missed her and it is evident after the release of her upcoming film’s teaser. It will see her essaying the same role after 16 long years in the sequel Bunty Aur Babli 2. This time however, her Bunty will be Saif Ali Khan. Abhishek Bachchan had previously essayed the role. Interestingly in the funny teaser, we also see a younger set of Bunty and Babli played by actors Siddhant Chaturvedi and Sharvari Wagh. 

Saif and Rani will be sharing the screen after nearly 12 years. They have previously worked in Hum Tum, Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic and Ta Ra Rum Pum. Talking about his film lead actor Khan earlier said, “Bunty Aur Babli 2 is a completely rebooted sequel and is set in today’s time. It is a fantastic script that hooked me on instantly. It is an out and out entertainer for the entire family to sit and enjoy, and this is what I loved and connected with. Also, it is a new role, language and milieu and that’s what I really look for in a script. I also love the dynamics between the originals and the new Bunty and Babli in the film. It is fresh, hilarious and extremely engaging. Rani and I have always had a lot of fun working with each other, and I am looking forward to our creative collaboration again. It is also equally amazing to be back home at YRF again.” The film is a Varun V Sharma directorial, produced by Aditya Chopra and will hit cinema halls on 19th November.
