The South superhit film Anniyan was to be remade in Hindi by filmmaker Shankar. It was announced a few months ago and also went on floors when it got embroiled in a legal tassel. It is now either delayed or shelved. The film would have brought together actors Ranveer Singh and Kiara Advani for the first time on screen. All is not lost for their fans however, as director Shankar is determined to bring the two popular stars together for another action film. Just like the previous film, it will be mounted on a large scale. 

Shankar has bounced off the action entertainer movie idea to Ranveer and he seems to have loved it. Kiara will most definitely be a part of the film as well if all goes well. It will be shot in the same timeline as that of the Anniyan remake. As of now nothing much has been disclosed about the film, and the makers are keeping everything hush hush. Ranveer meanwhile will next be seen in Rohit Shetty’s Cirkus while Kiara has Jug Jugg Jeeyo opposite Varun Dhawan.
