TV and Bollywood actor Abhishek Bajaj who will next be seen in Madhur Bhandarkar’s Babli Bouncer in shooting in the capital and got nostalgic. The Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui actor hails from Delhi but couldn’t visit his home. He stated the reason saying, “I get into a holiday mode as soon as I go home. I moved to Mumbai about eight years ago and since then I only visit Delhi when I need a holiday. I knew that if I visit home, I will get into that mode, which I can’t afford as I am shooting and I need to be in a certain state of mind. I chose to stay at a hotel in Aerocity so that it will be convenient for me to travel to my shoot locations. It is saving me a lot of time and I like Aerocity.”

Abhishek who has been part of TV shows like Dil Deke Dekho and Silsila Pyaar Ka added, “My mother came to meet me and brought me chhole bhature and patisa, so I ticked those two off my list. Next on my wishlist was shawarmas from a popular outlet in New Friends Colony. I keep telling Madhur sir and Tamannaah what a mastikhor I was as a teenager and when I was in college.” 

Talking about his work ethics, Abhishek said, “For me, the last two years were a good time to work on my weaknesses and identify my strengths. I am now very clear about the kind of work that I want for myself. I may choose to do limited work, but I only want to take up something which is challenging, and which gives me a chance to move a step ahead. Right now, I am focusing on Babli Bouncer, but there are projects in the pipeline.” Babli Bouncer stars Tamannaah Bhatia playing the titular role. The film tells the fictional tale of a female bouncer set in Asola Fatepur, known as the bouncer town. The film is produced by Fox Star Studios and Junglee Pictures.
