Actor Rrahul Sudhir, who has been part of web series such as All about Section 377, Gehraiyaan, Maaya, Spotlight, Twisted and TV shows like Raja Beta, Ishq Mein Marjawan 2, Tere Ishq Mein Ghayal, is part of the cast of web series Honeymoon Suit Room No 911, which is streaming on ALTT Balaji. Talking about the series, he says that he loves the storyline and his role.

“What attracted me to the script of the web series was the fact that, first, it's a thriller, and I've made a living out of thrillers. So, I sort of understand, sort of just a little understand the dynamic of how a thriller would function. Secondly, the channel, I mean, Paulaji - Alt Balaji was very keen on having me, which gives you even a further boost as to, you would just be the right choice to play something of this sort for this story. So that is why,” he says.

He adds, “As far as the character goes, we're actually a duo of a brother and a sister who were step owners of a resort which is owned by our father. But we are not his legal children because we were love children out of affair. With someone else who's not his wife. So, I'm basically playing a person with a broken childhood and issues, clearly a lot of traumas to do with the ownership of his life and that resort. At the end of the day, the one we are so obsessed over. And I think the character personally is also obsessed over a resort because it is his whole and soul connection with his father and his mother and his sister. It's the only thing he has to hang on to.”

Talking about how he relates to his role, he says, “Well, the guy in the web series is sort of a villain, and I don't relate to it personally. I don't know if there's anything common between the two of us except for maybe our madness, but mine is a little more constructive, more channelized, and I'm trying to organize it better. But apart from that, I don't think there's anything that I can relate to.

Talking about working on web series, he says, “Well, I just finished doing a film, so I think I've touched all three mediums, web shows, television, film. It's not different. I think what is different is the conciseness and the brevity that comes with working on a show which is limited in its episodes. And it has to have much more of a punch rather than just play in dialogue. So, I think the immensity of the character has to come out within those stipulated amount of episodes or a particular duration of time. Let's say a film which is 90 minutes long. In a TV serial, you have a lot of time to explore the aspects of a character, but in a web show, it just has to come out as soon as possible, from the moment go. So, I think that has to be kept in mind. Otherwise, acting something that stays the same, irrespective.”

Talking about his future plans, he says, “For a pessimistic individual like me, I don't really have any future career plans. I do whatever runs my house and I do whatever otherwise would fulfil my soul. So, it's either of the two. Depending on whatever criteria some project fulfils. I choose a project and I keep moving forward. I don't really have a plan per-se to execute and sort of build an agenda out of something of that sort.”

He says he has learnt a lot from the industry. “The learning would be that we're not making art, we're making business. And at the end of the day, people don't want to watch it. It's not a successful project. The learning would be that sex and violence sell more than lectures on ethics, morals, and values. The learning would be that eventually, what you intend to give people. Personally, I would want people to be better individuals, study hard, and do well in life. Unfortunately, through my work, I don't know how to show that. All I can show them is anger and very hate and kitchen politics and fights and blood and guns, and unfortunately, that's what they want to watch.”

Honeymoon Suite Room No 911” is captivating audiences with its intriguing storyline, talented cast, and high production values. The story is inspired by true events.
