The latest episode of Koffee With Karan Season 8 has been out. The guests of this episode have brought royalty to the couch with their presence. The Pataudi Mother-son duo Saif Ali Khan and Sharmila Tagore revealed many unknown facts about their lives. The host of the show Karan Johar shared the promo of the episode on his instagram on Monday. He captioned the post, 'A royal brew is on the menu for this week! Catch the mother-son duo, Sharmila Tagore & Saif Ali Khan on the latest episode of #KoffeeWithKaranS8.'

The episode features their iconic cinematic journey, the dynamic of the mother-son relationship and inside family stories. Saif Ali Khan and Sharmila Tagore also talked about the never-discussed failed marriage of Saif to Amrita Singh. 

In a conversation about Saif's first marriage with Amrita Singh, he shared shocking details about how his mother Sharmila Tagore reacted to the news. He also revealed that he broke the news to his mother a day after the wedding ceremony. Saif and Amrita's marriage had opposition from everyone including his mother. Sharmila shared how the incident went Saif told her about the marriage, 'I was visiting Mumbai so Saif came to me and said I have something to tell you and then he told me. And then of course... I don't know what I was doing but I was quiet and he said, 'Amma, your colour is changing, you're looking different ' and I said, 'Okay, we'll talk about it later'. And then when he left I ran up to Tiger and told him. There was also a long silence on that part and then we left it at that and I said, 'I would like to meet her.' 

Later on, Saif intervened The story shared by Sharmila and said it was allegedly a good version of what happened. He shared what happened, 'She (Sharmila Tagore) said, 'I believe you are living with someone and you are to doing something. Well just don't get married.' And I said ' I got married yesterday' and a big tear fell out of her eye and she started crying. Then she said, 'You've really hurt me. Why didn't you tell me?'  

Saif also shared how his mother was supportive when he decided to Amrita Singh. Both Saif and Amrita are living very happy life separately. Saif Ali Khan got married to Kareena Kapoor. They have a very sweet family with their two sons Taimur Ali Khan and Jeh Ali Khan. Saif's kids from his first marriage Sara Ali Khan and Ibrahim Ali Khan are often seen spending time with Saif's family.
