The worldwide digital premiere of Salaam Venky was announced by ZEE5. The platform presents another slice-of-life drama directed by the national award-winning director Revathi to viewers following the success of Uunchai and Chhatriwali. Salaam Venky is a film directed by Vishal Kukreja, produced by Blive Productions by Suuraj Sinngh, RTake Studios by Shraddha Agrawal, and Salaam Venky by Vishal Kukreja. It tells the story of a mother who decides to face difficult circumstances and does everything in her power for her son. The Hindi version of the film will be available for streaming on ZEE5 beginning on February 10, 2023.

The movie is based on a real-life incident in which a young boy is diagnosed with Duchenne muscular dystrophy, and it features powerful performances from Kajol and Vishal Jethwa. Aamir Khan makes a cameo appearance in the film, which also features Aahana Kumra, Rahul Bose, Rajeev Khandelwal, Prakash Raj, Anant Mahadevan, and Priyamani in important roles. Salaam Venky follows a chess player, Venky (Vishal), as he struggles with a rare disorder and fights for euthanasia so that he can donate his organs before progressive muscular degeneration makes them useless. Sujatha (Kajol), his mother, a doctor (Rajeev Khandelwal), a lawyer (Rahul Bose), and a journalist (Aahana Kumra) support him in his fight for a dignified end to his life.
