Up until now the popular Television show Shaadi Mubarak was being shot in Mumbai. However due to the surge of Covid cases in the city, shooting of all kinds have come to a halt. Thus the makers of the show will resume shooting only after May 1st but do not want to shift base out of Mumbai. The lead actor Manav Gohil meanwhile was tested positive a few days back and is recuperating at home. The show also stars Rati Pandey. While shows like Pandya Store have shifted base in Bikaner. Shaadi Mubarak has no such plans. 

Producer Sumeet Mittal stated, “Manav is currently infected with coronavirus and has quarantined himself at home. While many sets relocated to other cities, we felt that it was an amicable decision that we do not shift base and come back with fresh episodes after May 1. The situation is unpredictable right now and we can only pray that things get better soon. The decision was taken mutually with the channel.”
