Recently the trailer of Shahid Kapoor’s Jersey caught everyone’s attention. While the actor awaits the release of the sports drama, his other project has taken focus. The Kabir Singh actor’s upcoming digital film with Ali Abbas Zafar has finally got a title and it's quite a whacky one. The action film has been named ‘Bloody Daddy’. The film is the official remake of the 2011 French action thriller film called ‘Nuit Blanche’. It has previously been remade into Tamil by actor Kamal Haasan. 

Bloody Daddy went on floors a few days ago and as per reports Sooryavanshi actress Katrina Kaif is most likely to play the female lead. The role was reportedly first offered to Pati Patni Aur Woh actress Bhumi Pednekar but for some reason she turned it down. Katrina has previously worked with Ali Abbas in Mere Brother Ki Dulhan (2011) opposite Imraan Khan, Tiger Zinda Hai, and Bharat (2019) opposite Salman Khan.
