Having already established himself as a TV actor, Shamaun Ahmed is now all set to taste the waters of Bollywood with The Girl On The Train. The actor, who initially started his career as a DJ and then a theatre actor is all praises for his co-star Parineeti Chopra in their upcoming film. The actor recalls that he was put directly in front of the Jabariya Jodi actress without any rehearsals but in the end it’s about the work not the star in front of you. He said it was nice to work with a humble and chilled out star like her.

The Girl on the Train is directed by Ribhu Dasgupta and also stars Aditi Rao Hydari in a pivotal role. The film is an official Hindi remake of the 2016 American film with the same name. The film’s story revolves around a divorcee who accidentally gets involved in a missing person’s investigation. The film will hit the big screens in 2020.
