Marathi actress Shriya Pilgaonkar might be the daughter of well known actors Sachin and Supriya Pilgaonkar, but she has achieved her way through stardom through sheer hardwork and dedication. On Mother’s Day the ‘Smile Please’ actress speaks of her mom who she is extremely close to. The actress says, “She knows everything about my life. I feel that’s the best relationship one can have with your parents. My respect for her is not only because she is my mother, but also because she is a great artiste.”

The mother and daughter love to take off on fun vacations when not working. Speaking on the same Supriya says, “With her around I don’t have to think much. Shriya shows us good movies, curated by her. On holidays, she will keep asking me every two minutes if I am having a good time. She is extremely caring towards people around her and that, I feel, is one of the most endearing qualities my daughter has.” The Ek Kutli Ek actress then adds, “I’m grateful for the good health of my family and loved ones but I’m doing what I can to help amplify requirements of people in need. Every loss feels like a personal one. But we must hold onto every ounce of hope and strength and take care of ourselves and others.”
