After the stupendous success of Shershaah, Sidharth Malhotra’s next action film is here. He will be seen in another army centric role in the upcoming espionage thriller Mission Majnu. The film is set in the 1970s and tells the tale of how an Indian RAW agent carried out an undercover operation in neighboring country Pakistan. The film will mark the Bollywood debut of South actress Rashmika Mandanna who was last seen in Pushpa: The Rise. 

 

Makers of Mission Majnu have now announced the release date of the film. Sharing a new poster, producer RSVP wrote, “The target is set! Get ready to be a part of India’s most daring RAW mission in the heart of Pakistan. Inspired by true events, #MissionMajnu releasing on 10th June 2022.”

 

The film is a Shantanu Baagchi directorial and is produced by Ronnie Screwvala’s RSVP and Guilty By Association. The film’s release will clash with the Vicky Kaushal starrer Govinda Naam Mera.
