The highly anticipated Eid release of Salman Khan's film occurred yesterday, and the film performed in quite decent way at the box office on its first day of release.
The Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna starrer, Sikandar, began its theatrical journey with the opening of thirty-one crores. As per a report by Sacnilk, the film's domestic collection was thirty crores and six lakhs, which was very less as compared to Chhaava, which had acquired a collection of thirty-one crores, respectively.
The film had an overall occupancy rate of 20.95% in 2D and an occupancy rate of 22.96% in IMAX 2D. In terms of city-wise, Sikandar occupied the highest occupancy in Chennai, which was about 46.67%, followed by Bengaluru's 28% and Kolkata's 24.67%, and lastly Mumbai's 20.67%, which was the lowest occupancy for this film.
This film, Sikandar, was directed by A R Murugadoss, and its star cast comprised Kajal Aggarwal, Rashmika Mandanna, Sathyaraj, and Sharman Joshi, respectively, and it was released in theaters on 30th March, 2025.
