In Bollywood, it is extremely vital to look a certain way, apart from having the required talent to portray a role. Actresses like Vidya Balan, Sonakshi Sinha, etc have been dodging trolls on body shaming them for their extra weight, for years now. Now a film that will speak about body weight issues in heavier women is in the making. The film is titled Double XL and will star none other than Sonakshi Sinha herself. Another actress who has also been fighting her body image is Huma Qureshi, who has been signed on for the film by the director Mudassar Aziz. 

As per reports Sonakshi and Huma will be going through some major physical transformation to look the part of large women. Apparently the actresses will first shoot some scenes in their current lean body types before piling on the pounds and looking hefty. It will be a challenging role and the film will headline the struggles of overweight women. Aziz is known for his films like Pati Patni Aur Woh, Happy Bhag Jayegi, and Dulha Mil Gaya. Double XL is slated to go on floors soon. The film is produced by Ashwin Varde.
