After the success of Munjya Maddock Films have now revealed the release date of their much-awaited movie Stree 2. A sequel to the 2018s horror-comedy Stree; the movie features Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao in the lead roles.

The release date of Stree 2 has been highly anticipated by the audience and now the makers have finally revealed it! Stree will return to theatres to spook you on this Independence Day.

The producers of Stree 2 Maddock Films announced the release date of the movie on Instagram. They shared a small clip that unveiled the release date. The caption read, 'Iss swatantrata  diwas, aa rahi hai #Stree fir se!'

Stree 2 to Face Fierce Box Office Competition on Independence Day:

This Independence Day will witness one of the biggest clashes in the history of Indian cinema. Other than Stree 2 movies such as Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2, John Abraham and Sharvari Wagh starrer Vedaa, and Akshay Kumar and Taapsee Pannu’s multi-starrer Khel Khel Mein are also releasing on 15th August. The box-office race including these exciting movies will be fun to watch!

Stree 2 is directed by Amar Kaushik and produced by Jio Studios & Dinesh Vijan's Maddock Films. The movie features Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee and Aparshakti Khurana. Stree 2 will be out in theatres on 15th August.
