Sumeet Vyas has been working in various web series and television shows as well as films and has stated that the theater laid the foundation of his acting as it was the ‘school’ for him, which taught him acting, and it became an important aspect of his prolonged journey as an artist. In an exclusive interview with The Indian Express, Sumeet Vyas said, ‘It's not something to rely on if you have been struggling financially or professionally.' 

Further, when he was asked about the ups and downs of his life as an actor, he expressed his opinions, ‘I didn’t look upon theater as a way to escape in a creative way, and I can’t say about others, but I did theater even at the lowest points of my acting career; however, it didn’t turn out to be a good decision in a practical way, but theater was my primary work, and various projects that I did for television as well as films were just to survive financially or to continue my journey of theater.'

However, he was last seen in the movie ‘Sajini Shinde Ka Viral Video’ as an actor and had directed the web series ‘Raat Jawaan Hai,’ which was released on SonyLIV.
