Best known for his hilarious characters of Dr. Mashoor Gulati and Guthhi on The Kapil Sharma Show, actor and comedian Sunil Grover is currently recuperating at Mumbai’s Asian Heart Institute. The Bharat actor was reportedly diagnosed with multiple blockages and had to undergo an emergency heart surgery. He however being the true professional he is, completed his work commitments, which included shooting for an upcoming web series in Pune before being admitted for his procedure. 

Actor comedian Sunil Grover has a massive fan-following which includes actress, talk show host Simi Garewal. The latter took to her Twitter handle and wrote, “Am shocked that @WhoSunilGrover has had heart surgery. Filling our hearts with laughter & joy..at the cost of his own. I pray he recovers fast. He has a formidable talent & I'm a huge fan!!” An emotional fan commented, “get well soon.. you are very precious for us... u still have to achieve a lot.. u still have to make us laugh a lot.. u still have to let us give you our loads and loads of love.. wishing you a speedy recovery..” 

Sunil has been part of films like Ghajini, Baaghi, Pataakha, Bharat and recently in the web series Tandav with Saif Ali Khan. He was last seen in the web show Snow Flower on Zee5.
