The pace of earning of Bollywood star Sunny Deol's 'Gadar 2' is not taking its name. After the tremendous collection, the film has been declared as an all time blockbuster. In the coming times, this film is on its way to make many more records. Directed by Anil Sharma, 'Gadar 2', a sequel to the 2001 blockbuster 'Gadar', is set in the period 1947-54 after the partition of India and Pakistan. Whereas, 'Gadar 2' is based on the backdrop of the 1971 India-Pakistan war. Utkarsh Sharma played the role of Sunny's son in the film.

The Zee Studios film, which released on August 11, has so far collected $57.3 million worldwide and is still growing at a brisk pace. The film has become the third highest grossing Indian film of the year after Shah Rukh Khan's 'Pathaan' and 'Jailer'. Looking at the film's collection figures, it is believed that it will soon leave behind Rajinikanth's film.

Talking about Gadar 2, Sunny told Variety, “We make films for people and that is where we need to connect with people. We have connected with each other through this film, that is the beauty. He further added, “The last time I saw such celebrations was when Gadar released. People were enjoying it and celebrating. After that all this is being seen now. I feel very happy on top of the world.

He further added, "I was sure that people who have seen that film (Gadar), will like this film. Either they will like it or they will reject it, it will be nowhere in between." Talking about his character, Sunny said, "Now, it has become an Indian Marvel hero. Tara Singh has become a character who is backed by God."
