The song 'Yellow Yellow' from the Marathi film 'Fussclass Dabhade' was launched by T-Series in collaboration with Colour Yellow Productions, and Chalchitra Mandalee. To song 'Yellow Yellow' celebrates the fun and masti of the Haldi Ceremony, where the bride and groom are put Haldi marking an auspicious beginning to the wedding.


The song launch was indeed a fun filed Haldi Function in itself which began with Dhol and Tasha playing as the bride and groom entered with the Barati's dancing to the song, while a perfect ambience was created  filled with excitement, games and celebrations.

Present on the occasion were Director Hemant Dhome, Music Director Amitraj along with the cast of the film including Amey Wagh, Rajasi Bhave, Siddharth, Chandekar, Kshitee Jog, Nivedita Saraf, Harish Dudhade and Rajan Bhise in the lead roles.


Talking about the film and how it got this name Fussclass Dabhade, Director Hemant Dhome said, 'Fussclass is often used in Marathi to tell about how's life going...it's First class, how's the wedding celebration.. It's first class, so it's a very positive word that denotes superlative in every aspect. Here it is in the context of the first class Dabhade family which has an unshakeable bond, while they are seen rejoicing and celebrating a wedding in the film.'

He further talks about the idea behind the film 'While making this film the idea was to give Marathi Cinema it's own 'Hum Aapke Hain Kaun' or a 'Hum Saath Saath Hain' experience, which is a family drama dedicated to a traditional Indian wedding with all rituals and ceremonies. We can't compare the film with Suraj Barjatyaji or Rajashri Productions in terms of scale and budgets, but yes it's definately an inspiration from them, since they were much ahead of time to create such masterpieces.'

The film and the songs were planned according to a traditional Marathi weddings like the song Yellow Yellow depicts the Haldi Celebration. The album has a wedding song which depicts all the ceremonies taking place throught the day in the wedding. Another song depicts the first bath ritual of the bride and groom after wedding. There is also a Jagaran Gondhad devotional Pooja song followed by a final climax song. The songs are written by Singham fame lyricist Kshitij Patwardhan, and are composed by Music Composer and singer Amitraj, who has also sung a romantic song in the film. 

Hemant adds, 'We have a great tuning and after the narration of the story even they starting pitching song ideas according to various ceremonies and rituals.Like this time we had fixed the script, but they said we need one song in the end and so we went for it.'

Music Composer and Singer Amitraj talking about composing the album and his journey said, 'Overall journey working with Hemant Dhome has been fantabulous, having worked on 5-6 films over a span of 7 years down the line. Infact I never thought Hemant would do Fussclass Dabhade initially since it's a very diffrent film.I think this is one of his best films, because the way he has thought about it and portrayed the characters is commendable. He was very clear about the music and wanted to do specific songs.'


Taking about giving music for a wedding film,how was the experience he said, 'Infact people mostly think wedding songs to be very Peppy dance numbers, but the wedding song we have created in this film is very different since  it has a very Smooth, peaceful and very soft vibe.We had a Haldi ceremony so we  thought of making 'Yellow Yellow' as the pre-wedding Haldi song which is a dance number, that's when we thought of Nakash Aziz and he just cracked it.'

Amit adds, 'Fussclass Dabhade is a family film which is a roller coaster ride capturing wedding celebrations to emotional moments and  family values.It came as a pleasant surprise to me with many situations, giving me an opportunity to do many experiments in the film.'

Actress Rajasi Bhave talking about the on-screen wedding experience and song yellow yellow, says, 'Its been great and like a rehearsal wedding for me and now with Yellow Yellow I have my own Haldi song for my wedding, Chuckles .'


Actor Siddharth threw light on shooting yellow Yellow said," We shot the song for four days, while I play the groom's brother, the fun part was the entire set up the wada (mansion) where we shot and the atmosphere was crazy, it is a virgin location which has never been shot.Although the schedule was very hectic and so we could not rehearse prior to the shoot, so we just rehearsed just before the shot and gave the take."

The trio Ameya, Rajasi and Siddharth along with all the family members made the Haldi Celebrations more lively by doing the catch steps of the newly launched song 'Yellow Yellow'. Watch out the Fun filled Marathi Wedding Drama 'Fussclass Dabhade' releasing in theatres on 26th January.
