Bollywood actress Taapsee Pannu has a reputation for giving out super hit movies. The actress’s appetite for one of a kind stories has been quite evident from her last couple of movies like Pink, Thappad, Badla, Haseen Dillruba and Rashmi Rocket. The talented actress will next be seen in Looop Lapeta opposite Tahir Raj Bhasin. The film is the Hindi remake of German cult classic Run Lola Run. The actress will play the role of Savi, who is on a mission to save her boyfriend Satya. The film is all set to release on OTT giant Netflix on 4th February. 

Sony Pictures made the announcement on its official social media page, “Kya Tahir aur Taapsee jeet paayenge in this race against time? Looop Lapeta, a Sony Pictures Films India Feature, and Ellipsis Entertainment Production, starring @taapsee @TahirRajBhasin, directed by #AakashBhatia, coming on 4th Feb, only on Netflix.”

The comedy thriller is helmed by debutant director Aakash Bhatia. Talking about the film, Taapsee had earlier said, “This compelling story was extremely enjoyable to make along with my director, Aakash and co-star, Tahir. I cannot wait for fans and audiences to watch this edge-of-the seat film and enjoy it as much as we loved making it.” Bhasin stated, “The film is a clutter breaking take on new age romance, and a genre I am exploring for the first time. I can’t wait for the world to meet the characters Satya and Savi. Our director has a unique style stamp that has created a visually stunning world where thrill and comedy combine for one crazy rollercoaster of an entertainer.”
