Actress Tabu is all set to join the Pan Indian Project by Puri Jagannadh. The untitled film was announced on Ugadi 2025 on April 10th 2025. which will showcase the talented actress Tabu in a never-seen-before avatar alongside Vijay Sethupathi.

Tabu is known to choose films mostly women-oriented or in compelling character is set to star in an intense drama, scripted according to each character and carefully developed into a broader narrative. 


 A Fresh On-Screen Pair


While Tabu and Vijay Sethupathi are confirmed, the cast of the film has yet to be revealed. The shooting for this film is set to begin in June 2025. The film will be released in multiple languages such as Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam.

The actress from Hyderabad has worked in several Telugu films such as Ninne Pelladatha, Coolie No.1, Aavida Maa Aave, Chennakesava Reddy and Andarivaadu to name a few. Tabu in her last film, Ala Vaikuntapurramuloo in Telugu, has essayed the role of Allu Arjun’s mother.

Puri Jagannadh’s directorial Double iSmart was his last film in which Bollywood star Ananya Panday starred opposite Vijay Deverakonda for Dharma Productions, but the film failed at the box office.  However, the director is known for films like Pokiri in 2005, Idiot and Badri in 2000.
