There were a huge number of new Punjabi films that were all set to hit the cinema halls to entertain audiences until the pandemic broke out and all those plans were put to rest. Now finally with the restrictions eased out to quite an extent, moviegoers can rejoice and expect a lot of new content releasing. One of them is the Tarsem Jassar and Wamiqa Gabbi starrer Galwakdi. The film will be out to entertain audiences on new years eve on 31st December 2021. The tag line of the romantic drama itself says, “Celebrate your New Year with a hug of love”.

Galwakdi reportedly completed its shoot in 2019 and after two long years will release in 2021. The film is written by Randeep Chahal, and directed by Sharan Art. Besides this movie, Tarsem will be seen in the upcoming film Mastaney to release in July 2022 while Wamiqa has films like Kali Jotta with Neeru Bajwa and Kikli with  Mandy Takhar.
