Talking about the story of the film is a different offering from the Punjabi industry in which men's misbehaviour towards women and their bad perception is presented in a different way. The film stars Neeru Bajwa, Satinder Sartaaj and Wamiqa Gabbi in the lead roles, whose hard work we have seen in the trailer. The film is produced by Sunny Raj, Varun Arora, Sarla Rani, Vijay Kumar Arora and Santosh Subhash Thite. Neeru Bajwa Entertainment, U&I Films and VH Entertainment present the film.

The director of the movie, Vijay Kumar Arora, says thus about the plot: "I was quite impressed by the movie's plot. The writer of the film, Harinder Kour, deserves the most praise since she created a story about a woman's silent struggle against social expectations and skillfully depicted it in the film "Kali Jotta." Being a part of this movie and working with such a dedicated ensemble makes me incredibly proud."
