Recently an intriguing poster of the upcoming Marathi film London Misal was unveiled that caught everyone’s attention. The face of the lead actress was however hidden behind a mannequin. Nothing much was revealed except that it will be based on world Famous write Rabindranath Tagore’s play.

Speaking about the film, director of London Misal Jalindar Kumbhar said, “Yes, the film’s basic premise is inspired by a play by Tagore. It’s too early to reveal the name of the play. We haven’t even gone on floors yet. So, we would like to keep that a mystery for some time. I also feel it will help create curiosity among people, especially the younger audience, who will get to know more about Tagore’s work.”

London Misal will be shot entirely in London and will go on floors this June. Kumbhar added, “The entire film will be shot in London. It’s challenging because we have more than 10 prominent characters and different setups there. Thankfully, we are planning every bit carefully so as to stick to the schedule, complete it properly and not overshoot the budget.”
