Bollywood actress Rhea Chakraborty got some undue attention in 2020 when her boyfriend and late actor Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead in his apartment. Since then she has been part of many controversies. But the actress bounced back unscathed and is back to what she does best, acting. The Jalebi actress will soon be seen alongside Amitabh Bachchan in the upcoming psychological thriller Chehre. She was missing from the initial promotions was seen in the trailer. This irked everyone’s curiosity. Director Rumi Jaffery clarified, that they didn’t want to take advantage of the fragile situation that the actress was in thus included her only once she was comfortable.

Chehre was to release in April 2021, however looking at the speed at which the pandemic is enveloping the country once again that is unlikely. Thus the makers have decided to wait for things to normalize and release it only in cinema halls and not OTT. The film also stars Emraan Hashmi and Kriti Kharbanda in the lead.
