Anand Tiwari, the director of Bad Newz, said recently that Tripti Dimri was signed for the romantic comedy before she was officially announced for Ranbir Kapoor's Animal.

With the recent release of her film Bad Newz, actress Tripti Dimri is experiencing great success and is definitely the talk of the town. She has more than five projects planned, indicating her rise to prominence in Bollywood. The director of Bad Newz, Anand Tiwari, recently disclosed that Dimri's part in Vicky Kaushal and Ammy Virk's movie was finalized long before she was entertained for Ranbir Kapoor's Animal.

Karan Johar’s Choice for a romantic comedy was Tripti Dimri:

The director of Bad Newz discloses that Karan Johar suggested Tripti Dimri for a romantic comedy. Director Anand Tiwari reportedly told Indian Express that Tripti was selected for Bad Newz by Karan Johar as a recommendation after seeing her in Bulbbul and Qala. He mentioned that ‘Karan Johar recommended Tripti while she was still being considered for Animal and not yet part of the film’.

Tiwari explained that they chose Tripti for her skills after watching her previous work and they absolutely loved her. He added that when he saw her on set, he recognized her as a talent with lasting potential. Tiwari said, ‘Tripti Dimri is Vicky Kaushal in making,’ noting that she came from a very rooted background and that her performance in the film would be more than pleasantly surprising.

Tripti Dimri Gears up for her New Projects:

Regarding her career, Dimri most recently acted in Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Animal, costarring alongside Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Rashmika Mandanna, and Ranbir Kapoor. The Qala actress has a number of fascinating projects in the works. Alongside Madhuri Dixit Nene, Vidya Balan, and Kartik Aaryan, she is scheduled to feature in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. She also stars with Rajkummar Rao in Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video and opposite Siddhant Chaturvedi in Dharma Productions' Dhadak 2. Alongside Ranbir Kapoor, she is anticipated to reprise her role in Animal Park.
