Amitabh Bachchan, Boman Irani, and Anupam Kher's film Uunchai have completed 50 days in theatres. Sooraj Barjatya has returned to the big screen after 8 years with this film. He also celebrated the completion of 75 years of Rajshree Production. There is good news for the fans who were eagerly waiting for the release of this film on OTT. The OTT release date of Uunchai has been revealed.

Uunchai is scheduled to have its world digital premiere on 6 January 2023. It will be streamed on ZEE5. The story of the film revolves around three elderly friends Amit (Amitabh Bachchan), Javed (Boman Irani), and Om (Anupam Kher) who intend to trek to Everest Base Camp to fulfill the wish of their late friend Bhupen (Danny Denzongpa). Huh. Their journey begins with climbing to a height.

On this journey, they are joined by Shabina, Javed's wife (Neena Gupta), Mala, Bhupen's long-lost love (Sarika), and their tour guide Shraddha (Parineeti Chopra). Whether he succeeds in such tracking at this stage of age or not is a personal, emotional, and spiritual story of height.
