The Indian instalment of the Russo brothers web series Citadel has finally got the title. The web series features Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu in the lead roles. The original version of Citadel starred Priyanka Chopra which was released in 2023.

Titled 'Citadel: Honey Bunny' the makers of the web series released the first look and title of this upcoming web series today. The series will be released on Amazon Prime Video. The web series will be part of the Citadel universe. The poster depicts the title of the web series 'Citadel: Honey Bunny' in bold. With characters of Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu pointing guns.

The official Instagram account of Amazon Prime Video shared the poster of 'Citadel: Honey Bunny' featuring Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu. The caption shared by Prime Video read: 'Prime Video has confirmed the Indian series within the Citadel universe will be called Citadel: Honey Bunny.

Citadel: Honey Bunny has a riveting narrative that fuses the pulse-pounding elements of a gritty spy action thriller with the heartwarming allure of a love story, all set against the vibrant tapestry of the 90s. Honey Bunny is the Indian series within the Citadel universe.'

Diverse Cast Announced for 'Citadel: Honey Bunny' Including Kay Kay Menon Simran, Soham Majumdar and Others:

Other than Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu the cast of Citadel: Honey Bunny features  Kay Kay Menon, Simran, Soham Majumdar, Shivankit Parihar, Kashvi Majmundar, Saquib Saleem, Sikandar Kher.

Indian Spin-off 'Citadel: Honey Bunny' Confirmed as Part of Expanding Citadel Universe:

The original series released last year featuring Richard Madden and Priyanka Chopra was created by the Russo Brothers and released on  Prime Video. The Indian version of Citadel titled 'Citadel: Honey Bunny' will not be a remake but a spin-off. The series will also have  Spanish, Italian and Mexican versions planned.

'Citadel: Honey Bunny' is directed by Raj And DK. The series is written by the director duo and Sita Menon. The release date of the web series is not yet revealed.
