Molkki, the well-known social drama on Colors, is scheduled to return with a brand-new season titled "Molkki – Rishton Ki Agnipariksha." The difficulties faced by a woman defying social and patriarchal norms will be the theme of the second season as well, as it has been done before. "Molkki – Rishton Ki Agnipariksha," which was made by Balaji Telefilms and stars popular social media influencer Vidhi Yadav as Bhoomi, is expected to tell another inspiring story about a woman. Additionally, Ashish Kapoor plays a Thakur named Suraj Singh in the show.
The upcoming show will tell the story of Bhoomi's journey, who wants to be an artist but is forced to marry a Thakur because of the old practice of "molkki," or buying brides. "I am thrilled to be a part of this journey which brings to light the relevant and pressing issue of buying a bride,” Vidhi Yadav said, excited about her television debut. She went on to say, "I am honored to continue Bhoomi's journey in the second season of Molkki," adding, "The first season of Molkki was path-breaking." She is a Warikabad girl of modesty and ambition who carries her heart on her sleeve. I'm thrilled to have worked with Balaji Telefilms and COLORS, and I can't wait to tell this powerful story to people.
"It is a wonderful opportunity to be part of the second installment of Molkki - a show that enjoyed a successful run in its first season," Ashish Kapoor added, excited to play Suraj Singh. I am thrilled to play Suraj Singh, a nobleman who cares about the well-being of the underprivileged and lives by his principles. This show's portrayal of the custom of buying a bride and emphasis on the strength of those who oppose it is what sets it apart for me. I'm looking forward to telling Suraj's story on screen, and I hope the audience will show us their love and support."
The show will also have pivotal roles for Vidhi Yadav and Ashish Kapoor, as well as Vivan Mudgal, Shahab Khan, Ankit Vyas, Piyali Munshi, and Bhavya Sachdeva.
