Bollywood hottie Vidyut Jammwal has begun shooting for the upcoming espionage thriller titled IB 71. The film is directed by Sankalp Reddy, known for his award winning film Ghazi in 2017. It will be the debut film under the Commando actor’s home production house Action Hero Films. The film is based on a true incident where Indian intelligence officers outwit the Pakistani army to get an edge over them in the two-front war. The film has gone on floors. 

 

Speaking of the film, Vidyut said, “I'm thrilled about backing a film that revisits a glorious chapter in history. It's a story of the brilliance of intelligence officers, whom I salute with all my heart. My team and I are grateful to have begun the year on an exciting note.” Director Reddy added, “Here's a film that is about to redefine what it means to be a hero. I'm happy that we're off to a great start.” IB 71 is also produced by Bhushan Kumar's T-Series, Reliance Entertainment and co-produced by Abbas Sayyed.
