The story of self-discovery and empowerment, which featured Kangana Ranaut in the lead role, left a mark on the audience and earned Kangana the National Film Award for Best Actress. Bahl, in a recent revelation, expressed his desire to make "Queen 2" and believes that no one but Kangana can do justice to the role of Rani.

During an exclusive interview, Vikas Bahl disclosed his intentions to set the wheels in motion for "Queen 2." He remarked, "Every day, I wake up with a burning desire to bring 'Queen 2' to life. It's a dream I cherish, and someday, I'm sure I will make it a reality."

When questioned about his plans to introduce a fresh face alongside Kangana, similar to what he did in the original "Queen," Bahl humbly deferred any credit for discovering new talents, lauding Kangana's exceptional acting prowess. He affirmed, "I won't take credit for that. Kangana is an extraordinary actress, and I cannot envision anyone else stepping into the shoes of Rani for 'Queen 2.' My vision for this film revolves around her and her alone."

Kangana Ranaut, upon learning of this exciting news, took to her Instagram account to express her excitement for reprising the role of Rani in the sequel. She posted a story, writing "Yessss" on her Instagram, leaving no doubt about her excitement to be a part of this new adventure.

While awaiting "Queen 2," Kangana's fans can look forward to her upcoming projects. The versatile actress is set to come on the silver screen in "Tejas," where she will take on the role of a brave fighter pilot. Notably, she also made waves by revealing her first solo directorial movie, "Emergency." However, due to her hectic schedule, the movie’s release has been postponed.
