Well known Gujarati filmmaker Viral Shah has had a productive year. While most directors and actors suffered losses due to the pandemic, Shah made sure he made good use of the time and was at his productive best even during the 2 lockdowns. He stated, “Fortunately, 2021 was a very good year for me. I finished writing and directing one Gujarati film and my first Hindi film. I also began pre-production for the next film which I am taking to the floors in January. So I think it was a very hectic yet productive year.”

Speaking of this ending year and his upcoming projects, Viral shared, “I am going to miss nothing about 2021 because I am looking forward to a lot of fun things I have planned for 2022 which I couldn’t do in the last two years. Including one abroad holiday. I am super proud of the shoot we did in Bhavnagar with a huge cast of 12-14 people in a bio-bubble. We stayed and shot in the same location with gates locked for the outside world.” He also added, “I'll be shooting a film early next year in Kutch. Details will be out soon.”
