Bollywood actors, Akshay Kumar and Raveena Tandon are all set to light up the silver screen together after nearly two decades. The duo will be seen together in the upcoming movie'Welcome to the Jungle' which is an instalment of his hit comic franchise, 'Housefull'. In a recent interview with ANI, Akshay expressed his excitement about this reunion, stating that the pair have delivered 'maximum hits together' in the past.

 

The movie, 'Welcome to the Jungle', marks the much-awaited onscreen comeback of the actors, who were last seen together in 'Police Force: An Inside Story' in 2004. Akshay revealed, "We're doing a movie called 'Welcome to the Jungle' for which we will begin shooting soon. We've done maximum hit films together and I am looking forward to starting the shoot after a long, long time and we will be together on the same screen."

 

Akshay and Raveena are remembered for their hit films like 'Main Khiladi Tu Anari' and 'Mohra'. Besides their cinematic collaborations, the pair also featured in popular songs like 'Tu Cheez Badi Hai Mast Mast' and 'Tip Tip Barsa Paani', which are still loved by fans today.

 

The actors, who were romantically involved in the 1990s, have moved on in their personal lives. Akshay is happily married to Twinkle Khanna, while Raveena is married to businessman Anil Thadani. Speaking about their past, Raveena had earlier remarked, "We were a hit pair during Mohra, and even now, when we bump into each other socially, we all meet, we all chat. Everyone moves on."

 

On the work front, Akshay Kumar, who was recently seen in 'Mission Raniganj', has an impressive line-up of upcoming movies. Apart from 'Welcome to the Jungle', he will be seen in 'Singham Again', a movie in Rohit Shetty's successful franchise where he will reprise his role as top cop Sooryavanshi. The movie also features Ajay Devgn, Deepika Padukone, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and Ranveer Singh in lead roles.

 

Akshay is also set to star in the Hindi remake of the Tamil drama 'Soorarai Pottru', which is slated for release in February 2024. He will also share screen space with Tiger Shroff in 'Bade Miyan Chote Miyan'. His next announced project is 'Sky Force', a movie based on India's airstrike on Pakistan, directed by Sandeep Kelwani and Abhishek Kapur.
