Yami Gautam's film 'Lost' is coming directly to OTT instead of theaters and now its release date has been fixed, OTT platform Zee5 also announced. The film will hit the platform on 16 February. Yami announced the OTT release of the film on her birthday last year. 'Lost' is a film inspired by true events, in which Yami plays the role of a crime journalist. Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury directed the film. 'Lost' will feature Rahul Khanna, Pankaj Kapur, Neil Bhoopalam, Piaa Bajpai, and Tushar Pandey in supporting roles. In the film, Yami's character will be seen searching for a missing theater artist. In this sequence, the layers of his own life will also be revealed. The story is shown in Kolkata.

The film traveled to many international film festivals before coming on OTT. In 2022 the film has been screened at the Chicago South Asian Film Festival, the Atlanta Indian Film Festival, and the 53rd International Film Festival of India. Shyamal Sen Gupta has written the film, while the dialogues are by Ritesh Shah. Yami Gautam has come a long way from TV to films and is now playing central roles. Yami also acted in some South Indian films. After 2017, he is continuously active in Hindi films. His roles in Kaabil, Uri – The Surgical Strike, Bala, and Bhoot Police with Hrithik Roshan were memorable. In 2022, two of his films A Thursday and Dasvi were released on OTT. Yami was part of the main star cast in both these films. A Thursday came on Disney Plus Hotstar and registered as one of the best thrillers.
