Producer-director Subhash Ghai has given a gift to the youth of the country on the occasion of Independence Day by releasing the Sanskrit version of the song 'Ae Watan Tere Liye' from his film 'Karma', while famous tabla player and composer Bikram Ghosh has also On the occasion of Independence Day, a special song 'Ye Desh' has been prepared in collaboration with eminent musicians and singers of India, imbued with the spirit of patriotism. Which will be launched a day before Independence Day i.e. on the evening of 14th August.

Ahead of Independence Day, tabla maestro and composer Bikram Ghosh has composed a special song titled 'Yeh Desh' with singers including Hariharan, Shaan, Kavita Seth and Richa Sharma. The music video of the song also features some of India's greatest instrumentalists. In which Pandit Vishwa Mohan Bhatt on Mohan Veena, Pandit Ronu Majumdar on Flute, Purbayan Chatterjee on Sitar and Rajesh Vaidya on Veena, Pandit S. Bikram Ghosh himself on Shekhar and Tabla.

Sangeet Natak Akademi Awardee Bikram Ghosh says, 'This song is about the spirit of patriotism of our country. I thought to make a wonderful song to celebrate 76 years of independence. Since childhood, we have been listening to patriotic songs on TV on the festival of independence. I thought we should create a song that matches the energy of the current generation.

The album 'Yeh Desh' features music legends like Hariharan, Richa Sharma, Shaan, Kavita Seth and Mahalakshmi Iyer on one side. On the other hand are new age singing sensations, including popular Indian Idol singers Rishi Singh, Debosmita Roy, Chirag Kotwal, Bidipta Chakraborty, Senjuti Das and Mohammed Mohammed Faiz of Superstar Singer.

Bikram Ghosh is a musician known for his classical, rock, new-age, fusion music styles. He has been awarded several times globally for his mastery of tabla and experimental fusion music. Bikram Ghosh has given music in more than 36 films so far.
