The Khiladi of Bollywood Akshay Kumar is back on the big screens! The actor has announced an exciting upcoming movie with his Hera Pheri costar Paresh Rawal. The movie is a Hindi remake of the hit Tamil movie Soorarai Pottru.
To announce this upcoming Bollywood movie titled 'Sarfira' he took his instagram handle and shared a teaser of the movie. The caption of the post read: 'Dream so Big, they call you Crazy! #Sarfira releasing only in cinemas on 12th July, 2024. #MaarUdi.'
The teaser opened up with due credits and introduced the movie as 'an incredible story of chasing dreams' followed by Akshay Kumar's entry on screen. The actor is opening his arms to the sky while riding the bike. Later the teaser shares the title of the movie 'Sarfira.'
Other than Akshay Kumar Sarfira will feature Radhika Madan and Paresh Rawal in primary roles. The movie is directed by National Award-winning director Sudha Kongara. Sarfira is a Hindi remake of the Tamil movie Soorarai Pottru. The movie is produced by Aruna Bhatia, Jyothika, Suriya and Vikram Malhotra.
Soorarai Pottru is a 2020 Tamil-language movie. The movie is based on real-life events from the life of the founder of Indian low-cost airline Simplify Deccan G R Gopinath. It was directed by Sudha Kongara and featured Suriya, Aparna Balamurali and Paresh Rawal in the prominent roles. The movie was a huge success. It also won 5 National awards at the 68th National Film Awards.
The upcoming movie Sarfira will be out in cinemas on 12th July 2024.
