Tara, a teenage daughter of Uttara Bindra and Rishabh Raheja, is the couple's only child. When Uttara witnesses Rishabh abusing Uttara after an accident, she sends Tara to a dormitory to shield her from the abuse. Uttara, who is still in danger, is comforted and saved by her older sister Devyani and ultimately kills Rishabh. Devyani's dishonest and immoral SSP Brahmanand Jakhar, who also accepts bribes, clears her of all allegations.
