Akhilesh is simple illiterate but honest man living in Banaras with his mother. He meets Ira, who is a medical student by chance and soon the two become friends. When Akhilesh goes to her for treatment, she accidentally performs a vasectomy on Akhilesh. This leaves him and his mother shattered. Things get even worse when his step mother and siblings spread the news of his surgery. Ira then realizes her mistake and decides to marry him to make things straights. Soon Akhilesh and Ira fall in love. Meanwhile his mother hopes the surgery could be reversed but due to his case being complicated that hope is also ruled out. There is a ray of hope when Ira comes to know of his frozen semen sample and soon gets pregnant through artificial insemination. The show is created and produced by Sonali Jaffar.
