The story of the show revolves around a shape shifting snake who can turn herself into a human. The Naagin princess named Manyata falls deeply in love with Keshav and soon both plan to get married. Her mother however is against the marriage and warns Manyata that if she marries a human, her powers will be lost for the next 25 years. Manyata however is ready to give up her Naagin powers for the sake of love and thus marries Keshav going against her mother’s wishes. Soon she is pregnant and gives birth to a baby girl named Nayatara. Nayantara can only acquire Naagin powers at the age of 25 years. Things take an ugly turn when the Parekh family murders Keshav and his entire family. Manyata manages to escape with her daughter but makes sure she takes revenge from the Parekh family sooner or later. The show is directed by Santram Varma and Ranjan Kumar Singh. The show is produced by Ekta Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor. The star cast includes Mouni Roy, Arjun Bijlani, Sudha Chandran, Adaa Khan and Karanvir Bohra.
