Patiala Babes

Babita is a docile and shy girl who is married to Ashok. He lives and works abroad and returns after 17 years. Turns out, Ashok has been having an extra marital affair with his business partner Meeta. Babita is shattered after hearing this news and leaves his home with their 17 year old daughter Mini. Mini feels her mother’s pain but encourages her to be strong and independent. She then supports her to start her own catering service called Patiala Babes. The catering service runs well and gives them a good source of income. Meanwhile Meeta is now pregnant with Ashok’s child but is sad about his abusive behavior towards her. Babita and Mini try to help her. Ashok then realizes his mistake and leaves for London with Meeta. Meanwhile Hanuman falls in love with Babita and she too likes him. Mini is overjoyed and arranges a lavish wedding for the couple. Soon after the wedding Mini feels neglected and the catering service is also being ignored by Babita. Mini then takes up a cinematography course and leaves for Australia. Things take a tragic turn when Babita and Hanuman are killed in an accident and their young daughter Arya is now left to Mini’s care. The show is directed by Yusuf Ansari and produced by Rajita Sharma and Vivek Budakoti.
