The story of the show revolves around the mythological characters of Ram and Sita. The story of the Ramayan has mostly been from the perspective of Ram and more importance has been given to his struggles, exile, his brother Laxman and his war with Ravana. He even asks his wife to take a chastity test and even focus more on his worldly duties than that of a loving husband. This show however is from Sita’s point of view and her perspective on the Ramayana. It depicts her to have a mind of her own and be a confident yet obedient wife. She is his life partner but also takes individual decisions and yet never hesitates to sacrifice for Ram. The show is directed by Nikhil Sinha and Dharmesh Shah. The star cast includes Madirakshi Mundle, Ananya Agarwal, Yash Mistry and Ashish Sharma.
