Ishaan, played by Ajay Devgn and Sunny, played by Rahul Bose are both born into an illustrious family and are groomed to take over the huge family business one day. Ishaan however is the more responsible and sensible one while Sunny is violent and reckless in behavior. Ishaan meanwhile falls in love with Suman, played by Tabu who detests violence and wants a peaceful and happy world with Ishaan. One day things get out of hand when Ishaan is involved in a gruesome murder and the sight of a helpless disabled girl haunts him. It tugs at his conscience. His desire to leave the world of crime clashes with that of Sunny’d grandfather’s who wants to rage supreme in the world of crime.
Ishaan is then torn between his loyalty to Sunny’s family and wanting to give up all criminal activities for his ladylove Suman. Things take a drastic turn when Sunny’s grandfather is murdered. The movie is written and directed by Govind Nihalani and produced by Manmohan Shetty. The music is composed by A.R Rahman. The cinematography is by Sathosh Sivan.
