The first song from the upcoming movie Ae Watan Mere Watan titled Qatra Qatra is out. Directed by Kannan Iyer the movie features Sara Ali Khan in the lead role. It is set in Colonial India and describes the struggle of freedom fighters towards the country's independence. The movie is set to stream on Amazon Prime Video from 26th March.

Based on 1942's 'Quit India Movement'; Ae Watan Mere Watan is inspired by real events and narrates one of the most important chapters from the historical independence of India. The song Qatra Qatra consists of the passion, dedication, and emotions of freedom fighters towards the dream of an independent country. It portrays their fight with British colonisers who captured the country and ruled on its citizens.

'Qatra Qatra' is written by Mukund Suryavanshi and sung by Sukhwinder Singh. Akashdeep Sengupta composed this patriotic song. The music video of Katra Katra features Sara Ali Khan, Abhay Verma, and Sparsh Shrivastav and also reveals the first glance of Emraan Hashmi from the movie.

Directed by Kannan Iyer Ae Watan Mere Watan is written by the director himself along with Darab Farooqui. The movie is produced by Karan Johar Apurva Mehta and Somen Mishra.
