A fraud case has been filed against fifteen individuals in the allegation of deceiving people under a multi-crore chit fund scheme.

As per some reports, the fifteen individuals also include the actor Shreyas Talpade and the other fifteen individuals who were running two ventures, namely 'The Thrift Cooperative Society Limited and 'The Loni Urban Multistate Credit,' which had assured the villagers that they would be getting some fruitful returns on their investments, as they would double their money in a very short time period.

Although they didn't give the returns to the people and, after collecting a humongous amount of money, which was in crores, they closed their operations and escaped the district, and it is reportedly said that this scheme has been in existence for the past ten years.

However, the legal authorities have immediately registered a case at the Srinagar Police Station, and an investigation is underway, which could unravel the hidden truth of this case.
