Director Anurag Kashyap feels disgusted with the Hindi film industry and calls it disillusioned. He talks about especially the impact of OTT platforms, which is very discouraging for the creative process.

Kashyap slams top executives of OTT platforms who are afraid of taking risks, saying they are too 'comfortable' to leave their 'luxuries' behind. Reffing to streaming giants Netflix and Amazon Prime who gave new hope to Indian cinema initially, are now producing run-of-the-mill content.

Anurag Kashyap further stated the top streamers are multinationals, are not of Indian origin and so they are answerable, and are thus scared to take risks, creating a block for creativity. Kashyap feels a dire lack of stimulative conversations with OTT top Management who are happy in their comfort zones and don't know the real world of cinema and filmmaking.
