The first two installments of the massive hit Dabangg franchise, saw the late veteran actor Vinod Khanna play Salman Khan’s father Prajapati Pandey. Now in the third installment, the makers have roped in the late actor’s brother Promod to play the same role. The film’s director Prabhu Deva, made a video introducing the new member in the film along with the lead Bharat actor and actress Sonakshi Sinha.

The film’s shoot begun on April 1st this year and Salman Khan will be collaborating with his Wanted director Prabhu Deva for the second time. Arbaaz Khan will also reprise his role as the lead’s brother Makhanchand Pandey. The movie is all set to hit cinema theatres by 20th December 2019.
