The movie will be directed by the director Kushaal Chawla and produced by his father Gaurav Chawla. Kiran Bedi recently revealed what made her say yes to the biopic 'BEDI: The Name You Know. The Story You Don't.' In an interview, she said, 'I was in Pondicherry for my assignment when Kushaal and his father (producer) Gaurav Chawla came to me saying they wanted to make a film on me. I told them that it was too early for it as I was still at work, but I saw the massive homework and due diligence they had already done, without even knowing whether I would say yes or no.'
