One of the renowned and classical filmmakers of the industry has recently made a shocking revelation about his upcoming project, in which he will introduce a new filmmaker who will be directing his upcoming project under the banner of Dharma Productions. 

While expressing joy and happiness about the project, Karan Johar took to his Instagram handle to share this news through a heartfelt note which stated, ‘When I began producing films(once I stepped into Dharma as an active part of the company), in 2003 with Kal Ho Naa Ho - the idea was to empower filmmakers as well as the storytellers…to pay it forward. We got it right…we got it wrong - but the intent was always to put out stories and films we believed in. The motive was only either entertain, seek acclaim or simply have fun at the movies!’

Further, Karan’s note stated, ‘I am proud to say that our next offering is the 24th filmmaker we have introduced to Hindi cinema!’. Also, Karan stated that ‘the collaborative producer and debutant director have been on the journey of creating this film for four years, and I can say that this film is one of Dharma’s proudest films!’

Moreover, Karan’s last project was Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, which performed exceptionally at the box office and managed to gain a collection of three hundred and fifty-five crores on a worldwide basis. This film starred Jaya Bachchan, Shabana Azmi, Ranveer Singh, Dharmendra, and Alia Bhatt in various prominent roles.
