The industry's one of the promising and talented stars, Kartik Aaryan, recently received an award at the LMOTY (Lokmat Maharashtrian Of The Year) ceremony, which was held yesterday at the Raj Bhavan located in Mumbai.

After receiving this award, Kartik Aaryan took to his Instagram handle to share various pictures from the event, wherein he wrote a caption, 'Maharashtrian Of The Year. Thank you, honourable Governor CP Radhakrishnan ji, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, and Lokmat for appreciating my acting.'

Further, Kartik said, 'Receiving this award has been a matter of honour and pride for me as well as my family. I came here all the way from Gwalior, which is my birthplace, but Mumbai is my workplace, and I have acquired tremendous success, which was the turning point of my life. As it is written in the Gita, do not worry about the fruits; keep up with the work. If receiving such a prestigious award is the fruit, then I will always continue to do the kind acts.'

However, Kartik had also won the IIFA award for the category of 'Best Performance in A Leading Role (Male)' for his recent film 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3.'
