Looks like director Om Raut has finally found his Sita in actress Kriti Sanon in the upcoming mythology film Adipurush. The beautiful Panipat actress announced the fab news on her social media by writing, “A new journey begins.. #ADIPURUSH ❤️ This one is too special.. Proud, honoured and beyond excited to be a part of this magical world..”Looks like the actress is as excited as her fans are to play this epic role that has been previously portrayed by endless actresses. The film will also star Saaho actor Prabhas as Lord Ram while Saif Ali Khan will play Lankesh/Ravan. Actor Sunny Singh meanwhile will be essaying the role of Laxman in the film.


Adipurush is directed by Om Raut who previously helmed Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior starring Saif and Ajay Devgn. Kriti will next be seen in the Tiger Shroff starrer Ganapath.
